COVID response has been (unfortunately) a divisive issue. At Grace we have attempted to follow all mandated guidelines from Orange County and the state of California. During the height of the pandemic in 2020-21 we met remotely as a church family by Zoom. We have multiple people in our church family who work in the medical field and have first hand knowledge about the challenge of COVID. Many of the people at our local church support the use of vaccines although we have not formally inquired if everyone in our fellowship is vaccinated. We understand the frustrations of dealing with the pandemic but we are also concerned about the health and safety of our church family and community. We understand that followers of Jesus have used different passages from scripture to frame their COVID response. While we do not always see eye to eye with what our government choses to do, we have decided to center our coronavirus approach around Jesus command of love for neighbor and Biblical mandate to cooperate with government to the greatest extent possible.
